PROCESSING AIDS

BACKGROUND

Polymer Processing Aids are commonly used during the extrusion process to improve melt processability, improve handling of high molecular weight polymers, burning or anisotropy. They are first and for most used to reduce the friction between melting mass and metal machine parts, enabling the smooth flow of the molten material. Tosaf offers an extensive range of processing aids for reducing cycle times, uncontaminated extrusion equipment and all-in-all smooth running manufacturing.

Processing aids are used in the production process of multiple polymers such as PP, LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE and more.

TOSAF PROCESSING AID ADDITIVES

Our extensive range of Polymer Process Aid (PPA) masterbatches have been specifically designed to enhance the processability of plastics, such as PE film, pipes, tubes and cables, improving productivity and quality, and reducing costs.

In over 30 years of working side by side with our customers, Tosaf has developed an innovative range of Polymer Process Aid additives that help smooth and trouble-free production processes.

Our wide range of masterbatches meets different needs, making them suitable for use in a variety of relative humidity levels, from dry to high moisture.

Sharing with you our know-how and years of experience, we will advise on which Polymer Process Aid additives to use, how to use them and in what quantities, to optimize them for both your production process and end-user applications.
